EXPLORING OUR INTERNAL WORLD
Here we share a part within us that desires to take up more space. We express this through imaginative characters, exploring their stories, worlds and voices.
MEET AURORA
Passion: To fly in adventurous colors with childlike spirit
Internal Obstacle: Fear to let go and get hurt
Why: She lost a leg and arm in a skydiving accident and is scared to fly and surrender to her wild inner child
Backstory: She is passionate because she grew up seeing her parents travel the world and grew through their stories
How she came to be… In our Internal Family Systems (IFS) exercise, I reflected on the sensations in my forehead, back of neck/spine, and left foot ~ with curiosity, I recognized the desire to loosen and expand. The head became a space for expansion in my human… the body, a serpent rising in creative flow, its leg rooted by the limbs of trees and traveling through all directions to explore ❤️✨

Passions: Bringing, squiggling, and flowing
Struggles: holding itself back, boinging and squiggling out of control OR getting stuck and not being able to boing or squiggles at all!
Why: Instability growing up... this contributes to the passion and struggle (moving and change, freedom, desire and ability to boing and squiggle. Instability- hard to find solid ground ❤️

Recess, my breath sighs –
Wandering cross’ withered

Recollection this illusion

It’s real this calm you feel,

It’s endless the hum of nature,

As i feel yours?....
Do you feel me kiss you,
My eyes sore with momentary lapse…
Parting ways you’ll tell cycles stories

This pulse existing
In you dreamt by me
and then I come back
To Copake Lake and I fall in love
This might just be what is needed
As i meet another across the way
