Meet Mayara

Mayara Nobre [she/her/hers] is a Brazilian actress, director, and filmmaker who explores body-lighting-colors-movements-feelings. Theater, film, and education have transformed her life for good by giving her the power of thinking, expressing, owning up to her own narratives, and understanding others…She wants to keep on sharing this power and truly believe that if we ever want to change the world, the way is through art and education. She brings to life narratives such as body dysmorphia, womanhood, anxiety and relationships, hoping that she can inspire more people to not feel alone and not keep silent anymore. She is currently majoring in Scenic Arts in the University of Brasilia and is always looking to expand her knowledge and experiences with other courses such as Digital Theater at the “Art of Acting Studio” - Stella Adler (L.A) and “My Story My Voice” - The Human Arts Collective. She is also the co-founder of a brazilian artistc collective that ironically is called “Isso Não é um Coletivo/ This is not a collective”, which is a safe space to freely be and explore, 2 of the things she strongly believes should be part of any creative process.
